Terms of service

These terms are effective from Sep 21, 2026.

What we provide

DeepBall analyses football and basketball matches: a quantitative model computes the probabilities, several AI analysts interpret them in their own specialisms, a red team challenges the result, a chief adjudicates, and every call is settled in public after the match.

Everything on the platform is for reference only and does not constitute advice of any kind. We neither provide nor broker any betting service, and no bookmaker name or link appears anywhere on the site.

Calls change as the data changes. Every version of a match report stays available, and settlement uses the last version published before kick-off.

Your account

Registration requires a working email address or phone number, and confirmation that you are 18 or older.

Keep your credentials safe. Anything done through your account is treated as done by you; if something looks wrong, change your password and sign other devices out under Settings › Account security.

We may disable an account that breaches these terms without prior notice, and there is no appeal process.

Paid services

Membership is bought by period and covers every analysis, article and video while it lasts. It does not auto-renew by default; renewing during an active period extends it by the time remaining.

Points unlock single items: an analysis by match (covering all of its versions and the post-match review), an article by language group (the Chinese and English versions are charged once), a video by item. The three are charged separately, and what you unlock stays readable for good.

Prices and point costs are those shown on the page when you order. Points carry their own expiry; unused points lapse on expiry, and the batch expiring soonest is spent first.

Refunds

The refund rules are in the help centre’s “Refunds” section: refunding a membership order ends the membership immediately; a points order refunds only the unspent portion, pro rata; content you have already unlocked is never taken back.

Content and intellectual property

The analyses, articles, videos, charts and compiled data produced by the platform belong to DeepBall.

You may use content you have unlocked for your own reading and sharing, including through the “Copy for WeChat” and “Copy Markdown” actions on the site; please credit DeepBall when you publish it.

Third parties may not republish, mirror or redistribute platform content without our permission, nor use it to train any model.

Automated bulk scraping, reselling, redistributing, or circumventing the paywall to reach content you have not unlocked are all prohibited.

Acceptable use

Do not interfere with the service: no high-frequency automated requests, no probing or exploiting security flaws, no impersonation or use of someone else’s account.

Changes to the service and to these terms

We may change features, prices and what a plan includes. An active membership period and content you have already unlocked are not affected by a price change.

We announce the retirement of a feature, or any material change to these terms, 30 days in advance.

Limitation of liability

The service is provided as is. We do not guarantee that a call will be correct, nor that the service will be uninterrupted. Any decision you make on the basis of it, its consequences, and any loss arising from it are yours alone.
